Thomas and all:

I replaced the bow stop and all three rollers on Sukoshi's tilt trailer with
urethane. It's non marring and 'slippery' compared to the old rubber ones.
You can purchase the hammer-on caps at most hardware stores <they're the same
things that are used on kids wagons, rolling lawn furniture, BBQ's, etc> ,
but replacing with bolts may be less frustrating <although more expensive>.
Mine had roll pins driven through the ends of the shafts so were easy to
drive out and replace. I also replaced the winch line with a strap
<standard is 20'> but ended up replacing the ancient <original equipment
Dilly trailer> winch as well because it had no provision to hold the strap on
the winch. The drum needs to have holes in it to put a through-bolt. Just
friction is not enough to hold it as you near the end of the strap.
