Just a quickie note to report on CDI operation. My son and I
had a great sail on Smith Mountains Lake, Virginia this
afternoon. Winds started light and thaen built up to moderate.
Tom had a blast, because other than the time we tried to prove
the Potter wouldn't flip he has never been out when there was
enough wind for a good sail.
Have the CDI line running correctly off at right angles to spool
now. Everything works great once it's rigged properly. Tried
reefing just for kicks (not really enough wind to make it
necessary), and then Tom sailed it right to the slip under jib
alone which I furled at the last minute.
