I could almost have helped with this. After trying to make some sense of
the IM instructions I called the only person I know besides myself who owns
a P-19 and asked for guidance. He drove right over and ran me through the
whole thing. I started videotaping but it turned out that BOTH of my
camcorder batteries had decided to peter out that day, so the tape didn't
work out so well. The bits and pieces I did get were very useful, though.
Maybe one of us on this mail list will find ourselves with a little free
time and a sense of goodwill to all new potterers and put together such a
tape as a service to the Potter communit (maybe me, but not right now). In
fact, a gereral Potter how-to documentary might be a great
mail-list-coming-together project; someone could do a reefing demo, someone
else might make a jib change-down how-to, etc. and we could edit them all
together and make them available to each other at cost of goods. Just a
thought.
