I have found a cure for the keel trunk durability problem, and I use it every
time I sail. It is a simple 3 step method which requires no resin, gelcoat,
or man (woman <G>)hours:

1. Stay away from shallow water. Mind the depth sounder. If it goes under
6', go somewhere else.

2. Familiarize yourself with updated charts of the area you are 'cruising'
in.

3. Stay away from all areas labeled 'rocks' or 'submerged obstruction' or
anywhere labeled less than 1 in depth. Repeat step 1.
