Greetings All:

I purchased my P-19 new in 1997. I found the boat to be what I expected
and have been very happy with it. The only problem with the boat when I
received it was some spider web cracking on the starboard quarter. This
was attributed to a stone on the trip to Ontario from California. I also got a
crack in the transom from carrying the motor on the motor mount. This
was a lesson which I learned the hard way. Both repairs were covered
by the factory.

In 1998 I found a crack on the deck just forward of the v-berth cabin.
This crack repair was also covered by the factory.

I paid $14000 (Canadian) for the boat and have no regrets.

This past summer I brought the boat to Lake Nipissing which is about
1100 kilometres east of Thunder Bay. We had great fun sailing on a lake
with warm water and beautiful sand beaches. I did learn that my 1985
Toyota 4Runner (with 417,000 kilometres) was not up to the job of towing
the boat in very hilly terrain. When we were climbing some of the hills on
the north shore of Lake Superior at 40 km per hour in first gear I knew
that we had a problem. So, I have recently replaced my old truck with a
1997 Ford Explorer. Once again I am looking forward to taking my boat to
Florida next summer.

We also had some graphics (decals) put on the boat. I was amazed at
how simple this was. We have a beautiful bird adjacent to the words
"Water Wings." It looks sharp.
