Trying to scrape an excellent living?

Make a few bucks?

:^)

Can't we all just get along? Is a CDI such a personal matter? Shooting each
other on the foot will solve it?

Is this America? Do we have a right to an opinion?

Let the man/woman decide what he wants to do... The important thing is he is
getting a Potter and probably join a group...

It is the man/womans decision is it not?

There are furler options down to less than $100.00.

Hillsboro Inlet Weather: Temp 84 F
Actual: Cloudy, wind E 20 - 30 MPH, Seas 4 - 6'
Forecast: Clear wind NE 10 -15 seas 1 - 3'

BTW:
You haul your downhaul and I'll furl my lapper... {:^)

There are no coves to haul into or hide where I sail. There is an inlet. It
gets ugly at the inlet whenever wind goes above 15-20MPH. Many a large boat
has been slammed on rocks or flipped over on a beautiful day...

Your sailing conditions should indicate what equipment you need. Not someone
else's opinion.

Right?
