Hi All: I need some advice. I had the oportunity to sail my WWP 15 in
the Intercoastal Waterway in North Carolina a couple of days ago. A bit
of a wind and I was singlehanding. So I decided to take a reef in the
main--first time I hve ever done that.
Then I noticed that there is no reefing hook near the mast for the
forward cringle. I tied it down, but has anyone ever tried hooking it
onto one of the horns of a cleat, perhaps the one that holds the main
halyard??? Just a thought. Alternately: has anyone installed the
appropriate hook? --what kind and how/where installed?
A second thought--I just installed jib tracks today, and WISH that the
job had been done at the factory!
Thanks, BILL WWP15 "Bilzbote"
