Greetings mates,

Here we go again. Last fall when in some areas of the country [ like
Delaware ] we have to eventually put our boats away for the winter [ snif,
snif ! ] ...we exchanged notes about good sailing books to read in lieu of
sailing our boats.

I just finished a library book " The Strange Last Voyage of Donald
Crowhurst" by Nicholas Tomalin and Ron Hall.

This is the true account of Donald Crowhurst who sailed his custom trimaran
out of the UK late 1968 in a world solo circumnavigation race...but who
instead of really doing it just sailed about in the Atlantic....faked his
positions,...dry lab-ed his logbooks...and the rest you will just have to
read about.

A really great sea story IMHO. . Really wild !
