Keith - yep its water from the keel that makes me roll up the carpeting for
a sail, then put it down after drying the sole for the evening. I find I
like this as the kids tend to dribble lots of cracker/chip/cookie crumbs
during the sail. So I just sponge up the bottom (there isn't always water)
then roll out the carpet for the evening. I keep the carpet on the floor
when the boat is in my driveway. - Eric
