Geoff:

Congratulations on your office. It is a joy having your boat close by, on
the water, ready to go whenever you feel like it. Makes for a lot more
sailing. Even short sails like and hour or so are immensely enjoyable.

I had my Columbia 22 for 15 years at a slip in Marina Del Rey. It had a 15Hp
Evinrude hanging off stern that I think I flushed once, about a month after
using it, when they hauled the boat out to paint the bottom for first time. I
was at marina when they hauled it and flushed the motor. I did hose outside
regularly after a sail but never flushed inside. The only thing I ever did to
it, was to replace the plugs every year and the impeller every other year. I
hope it crapped out on the dude that stole it in Panama... I hope it crapped
out on him on a bad day whith the current taking him out the inlet. Would
serve his right. Yep! I am still mad about that one.
