I used one of those for a spotlight connection in the cockpit. It lasted
well by comparison with others designed to be watertight. I had to replace
it after 6 years.

The ones I have the most trouble with are in the cabin; no thru-anything
included. That's where I'm now using spade lugs on terminal blocks.

The best I've found for outside use (mast disconnects, etc) are trailer
type plug connectors.
