Consider carrying just one oar; sculling is probably easier for the P19. I
have an oarlock installed on the transom & have tested the technique with a
too-short oar but then had difficulty finding a cheap sculling oar and got
sidetracked (by the Bahamas) before succeeding. Works real well.
