I just got some 9ft break apart oars from a company called Carlisle oars.
They dont sell direct but you can find them in most river rafting stores. I
believe they also have longer oars that break apart. Not cheap though. I
think the shaft was $48.00 and the blade was 30ish. Thats just for one oar,
but they are very sturdy. they are the only breakapart oars I could find,
Thanks to input from Cyrus. I have yet to use them but they do fit in the
oar locks that IM installed.
