I am also looking into installing oars on my P-15 due to the fact I hate
outboards ( I still have my Nissan for sale). I have a pair of 10ft wood
oars off an old boat that I might use, but they are heavy and I would have
to find a place to store them. Do you think they would store along the
shrouds? I have noticed this on other boats. Maybe I should just cut my
oars in half ! What do the IM oar lock sockets look like? Are they just
strap mounts? I have thought about using the rail clamp oar locks out of
Northwest River Supply. I would have to row standing with these.
