Tim,

Quick description of SMALL CRAFT ADVISOR Jan 2000 Issue 1:

6 1/2 x 10 copier paper quality with Card stock cover. Not
glossy. 32 pgs counting covers. Folded and stapled. Should
wear well. Good (not great) picture quality. Actually
excellent picture quality which reproduces very good
considering it's printed on copier paper.

-Table of Contents
-Captain's Log (editors 2 pgs)
-Letters (1 pg)
-Ads (appropriate- 4 pgs)
-Interview of David Emick (sailed a Potter 14 up the Inside
Passage from Vancover) (8 pgs including pictures)
-Places to Sail-Morro Bay (4 pgs including pictures)
-Small Boat News (1/2 pg)
-From the Galley (Sea Tea recipe) (1/2 pg)
-Plan Study of the Minuet 15 (2 pgs)
-Review of Com-Pac 19 (7 pgs)

IMHO, not as classy as "This Old Boat", more professional
than "messing about in Boats", more germane to most of us
then Cruising World or Sail. Worth a trial subsrciption.

I haven't finished reading it all yet, but I like it.

NO, I am not financially involved with SCA, don't know any
one there. Just think the glossies feature too many $3
million dollar boats, etc.
