I added extension to my 13' sailboat by cutting an old wood broom stick to
appropiate lenght and putting a 1/4" hole at one end. At other end I stuck a
bycicle handle. I drilled 3/8" hole on end of tiller and used a bolt to
attach extension. It swivels freely and will lift or lower about 8" at end. A
clip on tiller top hold the extension when not in use.
I bolted extension to top of tiller handle.
P19 does not have an extension so far..
