Another comment on P-15 sail cleaning. We used Davis Sail Bath (about $8.
for one bottle) which you use as a long soak, I think 24 hrs. but don't
remember with certainty. We did the main and the jib separately, and were
really impressed with the whiteness and retained stiffness of the sails after
they were rinsed with clear water and then allowed to dry outside. One
bottle was enough for the P-15 jib and main. We used our washing machine as
a tub for the soak, but agitation or cycling shouldn't be done, nor any
scrubbing.
