Is that 1" interiod diameter or the regular 1" drain they sell at stores?
The regular 1" drains usually have a 5/8" or less interior diameter. Now a
4" interior diameter is the ticket. That'll get that water out quit.. But,
that's a mighty big hole..

I opted for a Rule 1500 bilge pump for my cabin emptying needs.. I figger If
I can get 1500 Gallons per minute outta that cabin I should be ok as long as
the battery lasts.. Of course thats 1500 gpm at a 3' head thru a 1" id hose
and exit hole. When you use a 1" drain to exit that water the hole is
restricted down to 3/4" max. So using a 1" hose is a waste..
