I have sailed with a bimi top in all kinds of weather and had no
problems. The top from IM is quite expensive. I got a top from
Cabella's for $118.00 and it fits my P19 just fine. They have a more
expensive one for $149.00 which will fit a P19 and is easy to install
yourself.
