BTW:

I forgot to mention. The end cap of the P19 Bimini can be replaced with a
vynil buddy bearing cap. Fits perfectly and can be filled with that silicone
stuff and shoved onto end of boom. Once it dries, it's stuck for life.

<< I should have mentioned, on my bimini.. I mounted it on 24" long slides so
I could move it to cover the sun. It slides fwd and aft. Also I got an extra
wide bimini (78"wide) that hangs from gunwale lip and not coaming. It is 78"
wide by 6' long. I had to cut it down to approx 38" high as I bought the 4'
high model. My bimini is about 2" below boom if you lift main all the way to
top and when you pull down boom gooseneck hookup gooseneck is about 1 above
lil slot it sticks into. ( Boy! I keep forgetting names of all these things..
Soon I won't know whom I am..) {:^)

I installed only two of those lil plastic eyes to gunwale about same
location as the cabin windows. The rear of the bimini is just slipped over
the rear cleat to keep it in place.

Please also note that I installed a 10' long boom so I could move bimini to
extreme rear end of cockpit without tangling with bimini.

As bimini sits at dock it is slid all the way forward and dockside rear
pulldown is loose so I can climb aboard without tripping over it. At this
location it covers the cockpit hatch so I don't need a dodger..

No Bimini will protect from sun between 6AM - 9 AM nor 4PM to Sunset as you
get that dazzling reflection from water and angle lets sun sneek under
bimini. I try not to boat that time of day as my medicines (Celebrex,
Tylenol, Codeine) have made me hyper sensitive to sunlight. Lately I've been
sailing after sunset.. I might be turning into a vampire.. ^^

I might be able to supply a pic if anyone is interested.. (of the boat not
my fangs) I also have a short video of P19 sailing by but it's not great
quality as I made it with one of those Dazzle thingies.
