I think I read this story on the Potter Web once before. Seems they managed
to do just about everything wrong in order to have such a exciting moment.

Since my Potter is so old it has a painted center board mine is painted
DayGlo Orange as so I cannot miss putting her down before I cast off.

I did take come notes about eyeglasses and PFD's, I too am almost blind with
out my glasses. If you dont wear a confortable PFD it's too easy to simply
"sit on it" like some folks I see about. In a roll over there is little time
to find your PFD cushion and get it on.

I'm not sure I like the idea of keeping the cabin closed up all the time. I
rather like going below for some food and what not while under way. I
understand the need during a serious blow but not under "normal" sailing
conditions.

Anybody else have an exciting incident with there Potter?
