Same Question. I have one but never tried it. I'd be concerned about
friction on the carpet bunks, but I have some of those new teflon plasic
rail liners that ill be installing on the carpet once the boat if off the
trailer this spring--supposed to make it all lightning slick. Hope I also
have some left over to put in the yoke of my gudgeon mast crutch so the
mast can slide forward and backward easily during rigging/mast
raising/storage.
