Now Jim, you have gone to far! Check Old Town Canoe's literature about canoeing the coast of Maine, Ida Little's article about cruising the Bahamas in an Old Town Tripper or related cruises using a wood canoe up the Inside Passage to Alaska or even Fender's Yakaboo across the Caribean. And with appropriate floatation, recovering from a capsize in a canoe is elementary. Now about the canoe safety boat for the next Potter excursion...

Sorry, could not resist, but having had boats (power boats) come out to rescue us canoers when we just thought we were canoeing I could not leave an Old Town insult unanswered.
