Then there's the pro bass fisherman who occasionally (and of course,
accidentally) foul-hooked PWC riders while casting. Of course, he
always apologized profusely. Said he was a little deaf and couldn't
hear them coming, and they were so fast, he didn't have time to avoid
them when he finally saw them...

One of the PWC riders complained to a patrol officer - who promptly
cited him for failure to yield right of way to a professional fishing
boat! Guess he was a fisherman too. Never heard whether the charges
stuck.
