Ahoy Potter Yachters,

The most recent weather forecast for Saturday is grim. NOAA is forecasting
winds of 20-30 knots on SF Bay, with gusts up to 40. It is only prudent
that we cancel our plans for launching Saturday.

As of now, the weather forecast doesn't look good for Sunday either, but
things may change for the better. If the storm moves thru quicker than
expected, there may be a weather window on Sunday for daysailing.

A few people have told me they intend to show up and hang out at the ramp on
Saturday, hoping that the forecast is wrong adn hoping that there will be a
large enough weather window to get a few hours of sailing done.

The Potter Yachters Club is officially withdrawing from the event. If you do
in fact go sailing on your own on Saturdy, please be careful, use good
judgement, and exercise caution.

Fair winds,
