FYI, I have a Honda 5Hp and it came with a higher pitch prop, as SF stated,
probably more useful for a lighter boat. However Honda offers a lower
pitch prop as well.

I have only used the stock propeller and the engine only can run about 2/3
throttle before it (the propeller) cavitates; under load (head winds/
waves) this was exacerbated. At the end of last season I bought the other
propeller for use this year, so we shall see. In any case I now have a spare!

Necessities Add-on!
If you do buy/have a spare propeller also buy/have shear pins and stainless
cotter pins. Should you need to replace the propeller, you will need one
or both of the these parts too. The Honda comes with spares inside the
engine cowl, which I thought was a nice touch.

Here is the details of the Honda props:
        "Std" prop - 200x190 (7-7/8 x 7-1/2)
        "Workboat" prop - 200x170 (7-7/8 x 6-3/4)

The Honda's seem to fit right in between the Nissan offering. Which raises
the question, can one mix propellers between manufacturers?
