I'm getting ready to buy PFD's for my new P15.
BoatUS and West Marine carry the Sospenders Sport
model for $70-$80 and BoatUs has the Stearns
Ultra-Inflatable for $75. Any comments pro/con on
these models and brands? I'll be sailing inland
lakes/reservoirs exclusively. I'd also like to get a
PFD or two for potential child passengers. I don't
have any immediate need for these but thought I'd get
something "just in case".
I'm considering the West Marine traditional anchor
package for an inexpensive all-in-one anchoring
solution. I don't expect to do much anchoring but want
something that'll work and not be a short sighted
waste of money. Would I be better in the long run
spending a little more for an aluminum Fortress
Guardian?
I'd also like suggestions on modifying the stock
stays with turnbuckles, halyards/sheets/traveler with
snaps/shackles/whatever for rigging ease. I'm new at
this so specific sizes/types, even catalog PN's would
be appreciated.
    Thanks,

Andy Brown
