Perhaps something like a camera tripod might also work. It should be
easy enough to create a small attachment that screws on where the camera
goes to hold the mast. Only problem I see with this is that it might
intrude too much into the cockpit itself. Depending on the tripod, it
might be possible to put two legs on the quarter berths and one into the
cockpit itself, though.
