Why bother with a supercharger? You'd have to hook that into the engine
which means there are now two failure points: engine and supercharger.
Besides, it would be much more easy, IMHO, to install a wind chute on
the fore hatch and a large flapper valve on the transom. Under each
quarter berth you could install dual feed fuel tanks. Under the cockpit
proper you could install a JATO pack. The flapper valve would keep the
water out when the engine wasn't running, the wind chute would provide
the requisite air intake, and you'd still have your cabin interior
uncluttered by the supercharger. You might need to install trim tabs,
though. I'm not sure if they'd be required, but they would probably help
perfomance at the higher speeds. You might need to convert from the
standard rudder to a winged type rudder (sorta like the winged keels),
though, for added stability and control.
