Now we know why Judy had her main sail from Redwing at the sailmaker's! Is
that how you blow a main sail Judy? Does a Fisherman's reef help in 198 knot
winds? Enquiring minds wanna know! <G>
Seriously, where does one find cheap weight? No wise cracks, now!! I know
it's a really easy one that I have opened up for a clear shot. I want to place
some more weight up front on my boat. I have heard of putting lead shot (and
other things) in the chain locker to get her nose down.
What is a good, cheap, weight, and where can I get it?
TIA,
Chris Beatty

Hi Judy,
I n t e r r esting, as someone on Laugh In used to say, verrrry i n t e r r
esting. Of course, here in Florida, if we're execting winds over 198
knots, we're usually snug on the third floor of a Holiday Inn some miles
inland.
<snip>
When we're expecting over 198 knots, we usually fly the storm jib
and full main, and then if we need to reduce sail area more, we put a reef
in the main. >
