I have several questions that came up on a windy sail yesterday. First let
>me say "WOW" what a great day on the water winds at 15 with gusts 25? We
>almost laid it over once. I was sailing with my neighbor who has extensive
>experience. Anyway for the questions;
>1. The self bailing cockpit keeps about three inches of water in it. I had
>not noticed this before as water was much warmer. Do you guys put a plug in
>it? (I have P15)
>
>2. The main sheet bridle on stern is frayed cable and only has a block on
>the sheet - it pulls along the cable on the medal loop on the back of block
>Neal (my neighbor (not the famous newsgroup Cap't Neal)) said it should
have
>a block at both ends and perhaps I could use a good line there instead of
>cable. The cable hits the top of the tiller and is cutting a groove
through.
>Any suggestions, comments...
>
>3. We had very good air and the boat sailed wonderfully but when air was
not
>up it sail slow. Neal said I may want to get a Genoa (how do you spell
>Genoa) any suggestion...
>
>4. I still need a motor.
