We went to the Charleston Boat Show at the Maritime
Center yesterday, and had a good time. As in previous
years, there were surprisingly few sailboats, but we
still had fun climbing around on the ones that did
show up. The only small sailboats we saw were from
Hunter, but even the 21'-23' models were geared for
racing/day sailing, and had looked to have just
slightly more cabin room than the P15. The larger
boats included the Hunter 420 (I think), Beneteaus,
and J boats. My personal favorite was the large
catamaran offered for charter (at $4500 per weekend!!!!)
