Tim.. forgot to add, you were right,if the "arm: of the centerboard
sticking up through the slot was not nearly vertical, the centerboard
was not all the way down. Could it be that it was wedged in some
way to keep it from bouncing around during the long delivery trip
from the factory to you, and removal of this was overlooked?
