[WWP] Re:Unmanned sailboats are faster than swimmers! (Some growing pains)

Michael:

I am one of those that don't wear a life preserver. But I do wear a ski belt
when sailing alone. I also sometimes trail a ski rope when alone. It has
saved my pig headed self and attached butt a couple of times. But, it is an
experience skiing behind a sailboat on your gut while trying not to drown as
you pull yourself aboard inch by inch. If I had missed that handle at end of
ski rope only once I would of died from hypothermia many many years ago...

I LOVE my Sailing Harness. Even when I have company I use it. And FINALLY
I
found a use for those winches on Traveller. My friends found it hard to
drag
me back aboard a moving sailboat so they used the Winch.

I got back in but blew a lot of bubbles <G>. Next time I told them to turn
into the wind and let me find my own way back.
