Hi Jim,

We did exactly that. On Redwing, the porta Potti is amidships under the
cockpit, behind the steps. But you can't fit one in vertically there on
most P19s. There's not enough vertical clearance. Redwing has no cabin
floor there (!), so she's got an extra bit of vertical clearance. The
Thetford PortaPotty was too tall so we had to get a SaniPotti. The
Sanipotti, IMHO, isn't as good as a Thetford portapotti, but it's worth the
trade off.

If you can find a portapotti that's not too tall to fit under there, it's a
much more accomodating location for larger-than-munchkin sized adults, and
frees up storage space elsewhere.

Has anyone moved the porta-potti on a P19 from it's stock position to
anywhere else to accommodate larger than munchkin size humans? (Like maybe
amidships beneath the step into the cabin?) If so, what problems did you
encounter and how did you resolve them?

As always, many thanks in advance to this resourceful and imaginative group.
