If you are looking to sell or buy a Potter or related gear please send us the information. Be sure to indicate your location -- someone in San Francisco is not too likely to want to make a phone call to New York to check on a used boat.
New listings are posted as they come in, and as we have time. It may take a week or more to get the ad posted. Once a month or three the page is wiped clean, and a new set of listings starts. (The assumption is that two months is probably enough to sell a boat, if it is going to sell. If two months go by, and there are no results, please resubmit the ad.)
If the item has been sold, send an email to webmaster@potter-yachters.org . Please clearly identify the item -- we have to find the ad in the list below, and sometimes it is hard to do.

Looking for a Potter for sale in connecticut.
I would like to purchase a WWP 15. I live in Milwaukee, WI, but I am willing to travel some.
See ad below for 2002 P-15 for sale in Michigan. Below I have it priced at $6500.00 US dollars. I have now purchased my liveaboard boat and I simply can't afford to own and upkeep two boats. This Potter is like new! If you're looking for a P-15, even if you had to drive a bit to see this, you'll save thousands of dollars over a new one. I am letting this go to the first buyer for $5500.00 firm. This same boat is now close to $9000.00 with shipping. It won't last at this price. Let's do business!

Winner of the 2001 and 2002 SCA Cruiser Challenges! 2001 Montgomery 17 #615 Alina for Sale in Northern CA (See link at bottom for pictures) Here is your chance to own the best of the old and the best of the new. Alina is a 2001 Montgomery 17 which has been upgraded and pampered since she was purchased in June of 2001. She came well dressed from the factory with several options including shore power, and a rare teak and holly cabin sole. Since then, she has made several visits to Jerry Montgomerys shop, where he has equipped her with a custom rudder, carbon fiber boom (with internal outhaul), custom Harken traveler, and several other upgrades which make her a very special boat! With her ivory lap strake hull, royal blue stripe, and teak toe rail, hatchboards and hand rails, Alina is strikingly beautiful. But looks arent everything, and Alina has the track record to demonstrate her outstanding performance. She took first place at the 2001 SCA Cruiser Challenge. And to prove it wasnt just beginners luck, she took first place in the first race, first place in the second race, and first place overall in the 2002 SCA Cruiser Challenge. You can read more about Alina in Small Craft Advisor Magazine issues 11 (09/10 2001), 18 (11/12 2002), and the upcoming issue 20 (03/04 2003). Dont let the age or the price fool you. This is a 1988 Potter that has seen very little use.I am the 2nd owner and never sailed and I thought I would try.I used it once. The previos owner used it very seldom and it sat for must of its life.It is a forest green with white trim and like new white sails. She comes with a galvanized custom trailer in great shape. Her options are fabric cabin cushions($220),transom boarding ladder($110),Stainless steel bow pulpit($200),Stainless steel cockpit railings($260) and a kickup beach rudder($200).I was told the custom color green is another $800.It has very few minor scratches where I pulled it on the beach that day.The door into the cabin is weather beaten but is an easy fix..I am looking for $1950.00 or will take reasonable offers. If you go to www.westwightpotter.com/p15options.htm you will know my price is a steal. Like anyone, my taxes are due.

For Sale: 2001 Potter 19 in Vashon, WA If you are thinking about ordering a new Potter19 from the factory, consider this boat and save thousands. If you are considering an older, less expensive Potter19, consider this boat because for a few thousand dollars more you will have a boat that truly is like new. It has been gently used for only one season – sailed fewer than 10 times. Immaculate. Garaged two winters, currently outside under tarp. This boat is loaded with equipment that makes it a cinch to sail, and a lot of fun too. I unfortunately am not the sailor I used to be and have a toddler who demands more of my time. Popular Options Package includes: Trailer tie down strap; trailer tongue wheel and jack; trailer guides and mast crutch; white main sail with two reef points; lapper sail (in lieu of jib); jiffy reefing system; mast topping lift; boom vang; fabric cushions; cabin entrance ladder; v-berth windows; porta-potti; marine cooking stove; stainless steel bow pulpit; stainless steel cockpit railings; transom boarding ladder; cockpit storage compartment; bow/stern running lights with panel; mast anchor/steaming lights; battery tray; interior cabin light; compass with cover; mast raising system; pin stripes (dark blue). Other factory options are: anchor system (danforth anchor, 30ft chain, 100ft. rode); aluminum backing plate (for four stroke engine); 12 volt accessory outlet; spare tire and mount for Baja trailer; solar panel; dodger (dark blue); genoa whisker pole; genoa tracks and blocks; genoa sail, white; UV jib/genoa leach cover, dark blue; CDI roller furling unit; Nissan 5 hp 4-stroke O/B (LS) 18844; custom Baja style trailer; battery charger; depth sounder; VHF radio and antenna; additional speakers in cockpit; AM/FM stereo CD player system; marine gel battery; tiller tamer; sail cover (dark blue); white vinyl cockpit cushions; v-berth inert cushion and board; back stay; extra interior cabin light; dry-deck interior matting. Additional options: high quality bilge pump with float switch; 50 amp shore power with GFCI outlet; blue bottom paint. This boat is better than new because I worked out the kinks: replaced stereo with upgraded unit under warranty due to improper factory installation; replaced faulty depth finder under warranty; waterproofed several deck fittings; installed shore power and bilge pump, fixed defective sail cover, etc. The trailer has never been in the water. This is an awesome package. Paid $15,995 not including aftermarket options (over $1,000). All this purchased today from the factory is over $19,000 not including aftermarket options. Price $13,500. Email mrubin@fhcrc.org or phone 206-667-5377.
Boat is in very good condition but needs bottom cleaning or painted. Comes complete w/ trailer, 97 3.5 Nissan OB, portable marine radio, and all the little extras you will need to sale away. This is the perfect small day sailor for exploring the rivers and bays on the upper Chesapeake. Located in Charlestown (Cecil County) Maryland. Asking $3,500 OBO.

I have a beautiful all white WWP for sale that I purchased 12 months ago. It is now and has always been garaged and placed in the water only once. I ordered it with most of the options available, equipped it with many nice color-coordinated accessories and added a new Minn Kota salt water electric motor, white to match the boat. It also came with a new Nissan 3.5 hp motor which has never been removed from the box. The sails and mast have never been out of the garage either and remain wrapped in plastic. Having just recently married, my priorities have changed some and so must my toys. I have a total of $8519 invested in it and have all the receipts. I am asking $7300!
