For sale: Canvas Storage Cover for P19 Sale Price: $500.00 firm plus shipping List Price:The list price from IM is $725 The cover was purchased new in 2001 at the time of P 19 purchase (hull #1345). The cover is designed to protect a P19 and rigging with the mast down. The previous owner used it to cover the boat and then put additional tarps over the canvas cover. I purchased the boat in Feb of this year from the new owner and am fortunate enought to have a large shed for winter storage. The cover is in excellent condition.

This Potter 15 is located near Yreka, CA, just south of Oregon's border on I-5. It sits on a very stout trailer that includes a great spare tire on a galvanized rim. The boat is recently painted blue and white, and has a tabernackled mast with original Potter main and jib sails. It is an older boat, sail #320 and comes with a modified fixed keel that was recently moved forward to adjust the balance of the boat. This is still a shallow draft boat, as the keel is about a foot deep, and four feet long. It weighs 90 pounds, and gives this boat a very solid ride! The Sparow 12 was designed by Herb Stewart before he worked on the Potter. It has a shoallow draft fixed keel instead of a centerboard. It has a cabin with two bunks and a small footwell with sitting headroom. There is storage space under the cockpit. For extended, single-handed cruising, you could cut out a space from one of the bunks to make room for a portable head. The boat is in great shape with only a couple of nicks in the gelcoat on the keel. The trailer comes with bearing buddies. $2,700 For specs and more information, look in the Potter History section. This P-19 is in good shape with nice main and working jib. Trailer has new tires. I still have and use the original keel winch. Comes with an old and slightly funky tohatsu 5 horse that runs good. cushions and interior still good but floor carpeting was removed the day she came home with me. I feel bad using a boat as cool as the P-19 only once or twice a year. Somebody please buy her and go out often. Asking $3200. In Santa Rosa Ca. This rare boat is the little brother of the West Wight Potter. It was designed and built by Herb Stewart who designed and first built the Potter. Unlike the Potter it has a fixed keel, which makes it very stable. The cabin is almost as big as the Potter but the space is more usable due to the fixed keel and therefore no centerboard. Compared to the Potter the cabin is 1.5 inches lower at the companionway. The cabin length is 4 inches less and the cabin width at the companionway is 4 inches wider. The cockpit length measured at the seat is 41 inches compared to 61 inches for the Potter 15. The mast is the same as the Potter 15. The jib is larger than the main and is also about 3 feet taller and 1 foot longer than the Potter. Specifications: Designer: Herb Stewart Builder: H.M.S. Marine in Inglewood, California. Selling my Guppy 13 to make way for a WWP. Hull #167, from around 1974. I bought the boat last year, but the long illness of an elderly parent kept me from doing anything with it; I never even got to launch it! My mooring area will require occasional grounding out, so a centerboard boat like the Potter will be more practical for me than the Guppy with its keel. The sails are nice, and made relatively recently, I was told by the person I bought it from. The boat seems sound overall, but I'll point out that the compression post for the mast isn't screwed down at the bottom, the tiller, while useable, is starting to delaminate, and the pulley wheels in the sheaves are showing their age. Also, whoever painted the bottom didn't measure where they put the waterline, so it looks kind of goofy at the transom! Theoretically the cabin sleeps two; in reality it would be fun for one. It's basically a sleeping platform that doesn't offer sitting headroom. The boat is located in Wareham, MA, on the mainland side of the Cape Cod Canal. I'm asking $1900 for it. If you would like the trailer it's sitting on to use as a cradle, I'll throw it in for free, but it's the original one, with a lot of years and rust, and I wouldn't trust it for regular use; I'm also not sure it can be registered (I have the bill of sale from the previous owner, but that may not be enough paperwork).
