Marine-Tex and JB Weld were the first I knew of. There are now several
others,
one of which I used (incorrectly in that I was trying to get it to adhere
to
de-oiled teak) in my jury rig. The next attempt will be to use the same
epoxy
metal-to-metal ... after I finish dreaming about elaborate, unduly
difficult,
more elegant soultions. If that doesn't work, I guess I'll find an
artisan to
re-weld the thing.

Dog and Aqua-Pooh are doing just fine.

Still in Sacramento, planning a Delta & SF Bay cruise, followed by
trailering
to LA to do the islands and Oceanside/San Diego.

I don't agree with the comparison, but flattery will get you an attempt.
I don't
know half of what went on, however, and took no notes. Others will have
to chip
in with their contributions to yield a complete story.

Soon.
