I use the same sheets for all three headsails and therefore lead them
outside the shrouds -- as required by the genoa.

I use the genoa almost exclusively but did get a chance at Tahe to
experiment with the lapper. Though I still don't like the sail, I did
discover that it is possible to narrow the sheeting angle by
"barber-hauling" the headsail clew in bu tensioning the windward sheet.
Surprisingly, ths works for the lapper as well as one would expect it to
for the jib. So, sheeting outside the shrouds allows both possibilities.

Frankly, the fact that the WWP19 sails relatively poorly when pinched
would seem
to mitie against ever needing he really close sheeting angles. Free her up
and she'll perform better.
