You ought to come to Seattle some time - on Lake Union and Lake Washington,
Kenmore Air operates commercial seaplane flights, and you constantly see
these planes coming down. I've even seen 'em come down in the middle of the
course of a sailboat race.

And then there's the time I was in the north end of lake washington and went
aground right in the middle of their marked 'runway' during a gale. Had to
clean the shorts after that one.
