Sail Storage in boat

I have my P15 in a slip part of the year. Would like to just keep the
sails in the cabin rather than taking them home each time. I live in
eastern NC where it is hot and humid for several months a year. Am
afraid the sails may get mildew or other problems if they stay in the
cabin for up to two weeks between sailings.

Does anyone have experience keeping their sails in the cabin?
