Really enjoyed reading your story, Bill. As a relatively new Potter owner,
I also enjoy just pottering. The summer months here in Northern Alabama are
the worst of the year for sailing (still air with high temps and high
humidity) but with the little 5HP Nissan that was shipped with my P19 #1015,
I have often left the mast on the trailer and motor-pottered (mottered?)
around the coves and shallow tributaries of this part of the Tennessee River
and had great fun. With the onset of Autumn, I have been able to raise the
sail a few times already, but it's nice to be able to enjoy boating either
way. Good luck with your Hen.
