Wasn't aware of previous discussion on the subject but asumed some form of
this idea had been tenderized before. I am unsure of what an endplate might
be but if it's a plate secured to the end of the daggerboard in a
perpendicular and horizontal attitude, I can see stowage and ease of
installation benefits but I fear planing problems. If it is attached in a
parallel and vertical position, I can understand stability factors but
missed the boat on graceful stowage. Please expand my limited knowledge.
