Eric Johnson was saying he loves his $1.00 shroud covers. I couldn't agree
more. I have used these covers for years on both my potters. I cover all my
shrouds and backstay (not the forstay) all the way up. All Potters now have
1/8 shrouds, early P.15's had 3/32 dia. On the 1/8 you have to use 5/32
covers, on the 3/32 dia. use 1/8 covers. These covers are split down the sides
and go on easily, provided you put them on with your mast up. These covers keep
your rigging in good shape and it doesn't scuff up the boat when traileng.
West Marine has these for about $1.00 for a 6 foot piece.
