If anyone has ideas for installing a stereo into a P19, please let me hear
them. My current plans are to mount a stereo enclosure bracket beneath the
cabin ceiling on the port side, so that it is generally protected, yet easy
to control from the cockpit. Alternatively, I might buy a unit with a remote
control and mount the whole thing deeper inside.

What about speakers? I think I recall seeing a P19 picture with some
bracket-mount speakers above the V-berth. How does this work out? Is it
easily heard in the cockpit when sailing? when motoring? Is anyone using
flush-mount marine speakers in the cockpit anywhere? I think I'd rather not
drill the holes require by such an arrangement into the exterior, but I'd
like to hear what others have done, and also what the factory does on
pre-installed units.
