Does anyone know how long halyards and main sheets that are exposed to rain,
sun etc. in an inland climate should last? After three full years they appear
to be just fine.

On another note has anyone installed additional blocks just behind the chain
plate (toward the cockpit) to pull the base of the 110% lapper down more level
with the deck? I've tried it by hand and it "seems" to make "Zandon " sail a
little closer to the wind and to increase its speed.
