Thanks, Steve, for the info on Nancy's China DC. Most interesting. It has
286 lb of batteries, which is 3 times what I have (90 lb), so should have
about three times the range, maybe more with the smaller motor. Or maybe
not since my motor has the Maximizer pulse-width modulation. My batteries
also serve as ballast since I have located them at the lowest point in the
hull with one on each side of the forward end of the centerboard trunk. I
may add two more batteries further forward if I need more duration.
