I have an Old Town motor (made by MinnKota) for my 14' Orca. I've turned the
rudder into the prop more than once. No damage to the rudder or the motor.
It appears that the prop and motor just "stall" (the motor stops turning).
The dealer told me this would happen, that it wouldn't chew up the rudder,
and wouldn't hurt the motor. I wouldn't want to keep the motor from turning
for too long, but the occasional "oops" doesn't seem to do any damage :-)
