There is finally an end to the loooooong story of my 4 hp Johnson. =
After taking Solar Fry's advice and writing a "nice" letter (instead of =
what I wanted to write) to OMC, I had a "nice" surprise today when the =
shop called and told me that OMC agreed to my requests. So, what did I =
get for all of my trouble? Instead of a $700 repair bill it looks like =
my share will be around $175, or about the cost of replacing the water =
pump impeller. Although I am not happy with the untimely failure of my =
engine, I have to say that I am with OMCs backing of their product. =
Unlike my experience with Subaru (I will never own another one), I will =
continue to buy OMC... and feel good about doing so.
