Hi Bill, My P.14 has a nylon horn cleat located about eight inches froh the
base of the mast. It is secured by long stainless steel screws going through
the sail slot in the rear of the mast. First you hoist the sail, then tighten
your down haul. This is a very important feature if your Potter has sail slugs
installed.
